Smoother versioning workflow and other fixes

Dyad v1.11.1 improves user workflows, particularly by making version recovery smoother.

Highlights

More reliable interrupted version restore recovery

Version History now recovers more reliably when a restore is interrupted or follows a cancelled AI response.

When you stop generation and undo the changes, Dyad preserves partial edits as an [Interrupted] version before restoring the earlier version. This keeps those changes available in Version History instead of losing them.

If recovery is still required, Dyad now provides clearer options to use the current version or save pending changes before continuing. Version History also explains when recovery is blocked and lets you check again after resolving the issue.

Enhancements

  • Cancelling an Agent response now stops in-progress Dyad Engine tool requests. Requests also time out after five minutes instead of hanging indefinitely.
  • Preview browser toolbar tooltips now open toward the app preview so they do not cover the Preview, Code, or Problems tabs.
