0.24.0

Concurrent chats, favorite apps, improved onboarding and more!

Dyad v0.24 makes building multiple apps in Dyad easier and more productive! This release includes concurrent chat support, favorite apps, better onboarding, and several UI enhancements.

Highlights

Concurrent chats

You can now work on multiple chat sessions simultaneously! This allows you to work on different apps at the same time.

You can work on multiple chats for the same app but you'll want to be careful because the AI may get confused because it doesn't have the context from the other chats.

Favorite apps

Quickly access your most-used apps with the new favorites feature by @azizmejri1. Pin your go-to apps for faster access in the apps sidebar.

Scroll to bottom of chat

Dyad now includes a scroll-to-bottom button for long conversations, making it easier to jump to the latest messages.

Improved onboarding experience

First-time users will now see an onboarding banner that links to a YouTube video to get started quickly. The setup flow has also been improved to make connecting model providers more intuitive, guiding you directly to the right settings.

Enhancements

  • Context menu support: Right-click to copy, paste, and perform other standard text operations
  • Gemini 2.5 Flash updated to point to the latest version
  • Show Dyad command buttons within assistant responses for better visibility
  • Google Vertex AI provider configuration is now fixed after a regression in the previous release (v0.23)
  • Improved Supabase auth integration we've updated the system prompt to follow Supabase best practices

Finally, big thank you to @azizmejri1 and @princeaden1 for their continued contributions!
