Vercel publishing and Environment Variable management
Dyad v0.13.0 introduces seamless local environment variable management and native Vercel integration for easy app publishing, along with several other improvements.
Highlights
Publish with Vercel
Our publishing guide is almost obsolete now with Dyad's new native Vercel integration. Open up the Publishing panel in the top-right corner and you can simply connect your Dyad app to GitHub and Vercel, so you can share your app with others in minutes.
Special thanks to Nokitomo@ who created a proof-of-concept for the Vercel integration which inspired this feature.
Environment Variable Management
Instead of manually editing your .env
files, you can now manage local environment variables directly within the Dyad interface.
As part of this update, we've also redesigned the side panel controls—they're now in the top-right corner rather than on the panel itself. This change improves the experience by freeing up space for the panel content (e.g. more vertical space for previews). Let us know what you think on Reddit!
Other Changes
- By popular demand, Ask mode is now more prominent so you don't accidentally leave it on.
- The max file size Dyad reads into the AI context has increased from 100KB to 1MB.
- Clicking on the Chat tab will now automatically select an app, making the UX more intuitive.
- AI requests to the Dyad Pro backend will now randomly generate a unique request ID to make it easier to troubleshoot errors.
- The title bar is now easier to use for resizing the Dyad window.
