0.18.0

Create your own library of reusable prompts, get help with Help Bot, and save AI credits with improved Smart Context

Dyad v0.18.0 brings powerful new features to enhance your workflow: create your own library of reusable prompts, get instant help with the new Help Bot, and save up to 25% on AI credits with improved Smart Context options.

Highlights

Prompt Library

Build your own collection of go-to prompts and reuse them instantly across projects. Perfect for UI style guidelines like the one shown in the video, code reviews, or anything else.

Just create your prompt in the Library tab and then you can reuse them in the chat input by typing "@".

Help Bot

Help Bot allows you to ask questions about the Dyad product itself - all within the app. For example, wondering if a model is supported in the latest Dyad version? Just ask the Dyad Help Bot! It searches Dyad's website and gives you up-to-date information with sources.

This feature is currently only available to Dyad Pro subscribers.

Using the Help Bot, unlike the regular chat feature, does not consume your AI credits!

Smart Context Options

Dyad Pro's flagship feature: Smart Context now has a new option called "Balanced" that you can opt into.

The biggest benefit of using the new Balanced option is that it uses up to 25% fewer AI credits to process your AI requests! We recommend giving it a try, especially for large codebases, so you can get more done with your AI credits. Under the hood, the Balanced option uses a more efficient model and targeted approach, ensuring that only the most relevant files are sent to the flagship model you selected.

Also, thanks to suggestions from some of our power users, we now show you in your chat how many codebase tokens you've saved by using Smart Context!

The existing Smart Context behavior is called "Conservative" and you can continue to use it. It uses more AI credits than the Balanced option but is more exhaustive and can be helpful for complex requests.
