Dyad v0.26 Beta 1 brings support for previewing different screen sizes, better Node.js configuration and improvements to Smart Context.

Highlights

Toggle between screen sizes

You can now easily switch between different screen sizes when previewing your applications. This makes it much easier to test responsive designs and see how your app looks across desktop, tablet, and mobile viewports—all without leaving Dyad. Thanks @azizmejri1!

Manual Node.js path configuration

You can now configure Node.js path manually, which is especially helpful if Dyad isn't automatically detecting your Node.js installation.

Select specific problems

You can now choose which specific problems to fix in the Problems pane rather than addressing them all at once. When working with codebases that have many issues, this targeted approach helps the AI focus and deliver better fixes.

Improved Smart Context (Pro)

Based on Dyad Pro members' feedback, we've made several improvements to Smart Context to improve its accuracy and speed. We recommend using the Balanced mode for Smart Context as we're deprecating the Conservative mode and will be replacing it with a new mode in the coming weeks.

Enhancements

• GLM 4.6 model has been added as a preset model for OpenRouter.
• Improved auto-scroll: Fixed auto-scroll behavior to only trigger during active AI responses, reducing unwanted scrolling.
• Dyad Pro: Removed legacy "smart auto" feature so that the default model always uses a top frontier model (e.g. GPT-5). You can use the Super Value model if you're focused on saving credits.
• Simplified the setup banner UI.
• Upgraded better-sqlite3.
