Multi-chat browser-like tabs, Plan mode for all, AI Git conflict resolver, chat message queueing, tab management, UI enhancements, and improved chat workflows

Dyad v0.37.0 introduces a more flexible and efficient workflow with browser-like multi-chat tabs, Plan mode for all users, a new AI Conflict Resolver for Git merge conflicts, prompt queueing, bulk tab management options, UI improvements, and enhancements to file handling and chat behavior.

Highlights

Browser-like multi-chat tabs

Switch between multiple chat sessions at once using browser-style tabs. This lets you:

  • Keep several chats open in parallel
  • Move between conversations without losing your place
  • Work across apps or tasks without disrupting your context

A right-click on a chat tab opens a context menu offering bulk close actions. Only chats opened in the current session display as tabs, reducing clutter.

Plan mode is now available for all users

Plan mode is available to everyone, enabling you to:

  • Break complex features into clear steps before implementation
  • Clarify requirements and edge cases up front
  • Review and adjust approaches before files are modified

AI Conflict Resolver for Git merge conflicts

Easily handle Git merge conflicts using the new AI Conflict Resolver. Let Dyad’s AI review conflicting files and generate a merged result, helping you get through branch merges with less manual editing.

Feedback appreciated

If the resolver produces an incorrect merge, please upload a chat session so we can improve the conflict strategy.

Queue multiple chat messages

You can now queue messages before previous responses finish. Useful for:

  • Sending a sequence of requests
  • Lining up follow-up questions while the agent is working

Feedback appreciated

If queued messages aren't working correctly, please upload a chat session.

Favorite button moved to app details

The Favorite action is now located in the app details page, keeping the app list cleaner. Further improvements for app-specific chat tab icons are planned.

Build with MCP mode deprecated

Build with MCP is now deprecated in favor of improved Agent support. You can still manually enable Build mode with MCP servers in settings, but it's not recommended due to edge cases.

Using MCP servers with Build mode can result in incomplete code generation or insufficient context. Prefer using Agent mode for MCP workflows.

Enhancements & fixes

  • When dragging a file into Dyad, you’ll now select an attachment type.
  • Improved the file read chat component with optional line numbers.
  • Improved chat behavior and scroll consistency when moving between chats.
  • Improved Help dialog structure and interactions.
  • Updated chat input UI for a cleaner experience.
  • Added a keyboard shortcut for zooming.

Feedback

If you encounter any issues or have suggestions, please help us improve by reporting a bug or uploading a chat session.
